Inspiration: Flower Princess Bedrooms

I think it’s important to have a home that you feel comfortable in. In all my fickleness, I have finally decided to invest in transforming my apartment: from barren to safe haven!

With interior design, I love that each room has its own personality. Whenever I gaze at these types of photos, I always I imagine the character living inside of these rooms.

Here are some findings from my recent search for inspiration, with the said character stories underneath. Better said, these would be my descriptions for personifying the rooms. Regardless, it is more than likely that these interpretations merely reflect upon myself—which is also quite cool, I think!

Commencing...ten beautiful Flower Princess rooms, courtesy of romapri.com!

— 1 —
a country girl

Growing up in the country from a well-to-do family, she finds comfort among nature. She has always been a flower girl and loves to decorate her hair with freshly picked posies.

— 2 —
flower meets forest

A flower princess in the forest, her style is a blend between casual hime and mori girl. She finishes her effortless, flowly outfit with a crown. A crown which she crafted herself, decorated with dark pink rosebuds and emerald green foliage.

— 3 —
simple and polite

She’s a simple girl. A good girl. Even as she blossoms into a young woman with her own sense of style, she still keeps the old brown trunk that her grandmother passed down to her. She’s preparing for university now; let’s wish her luck!

— 4 —
a delicate flower

A dainty little thing, her petite frame gently descends into her seat. This room is her peaceful hideaway. She gazes out the window as she delicately stirs her tea. She smiles slightly as she ponders about an upcoming trip with her friends—as well as the boy she met recently.

— 5 —
working hard to dream

Striving to be an independent girl, she left the comfort of home to move to a city and start a new life. The city proves challenging, but she’s working hard to settle in. Though too shy to tell it, her mind holds big dreams for herself. It is in her small flat that she truly roams free.

— 6 —
a socialite

A young woman with a privileged background, she never falls short of outfits to wear or appointments with friends. As usual, she has rushed to get ready in time to meet her friends—and look, she’s forgotten to turn off the light.

— 7 —
waiting to be rescued

A romantic at heart, she has lately dressed her best as she waits for a prince to come find her. It is unfortunate that such a genteel, pretty girl should find herself more than a bit lonely.

— 8 —
the unassuming student

One wouldn’t think much if they saw her. Neither stylish nor glamorous, this mild-mannered girl doesn’t fuss about matching perfectly; she simply picks whatever she likes. It turns out, however, that she is drawn towards antique pieces...

— 9 —
the older sister

A bit older than the rest, this woman is in her late 20s. Once a carefree flower girl, her style is on the cusp of change. She finds herself looking in the mirror more often than usual, questioning what is missing in her life—a partner, perhaps?

— 10 —
bright and fresh

A lighthearted and cheerful personality, this young girl in her early twenties is focused on enjoying herself. Fashion, beauty, and décor come naturally to her. If only she could find her career passion! But no matter, she’s enjoying every minute of the ride.

Back to reality, I find myself liking the 7th and 10th rooms best! How about yourself?
Which is your favorite room and why?
What kind of characters would you attach to these rooms? :D
